Question regarding Disability/SSI

I recieved our second denial for benefits for my 3 year old daughter today. Now we have to go through a Judge to decide again. Has anyone had this much difficulty getting assistance. It ridiculous that they want her to be sicker to approve her. If anyone has any personal experience with this please let me know. I'm at the end of my rope and getting very discouraged.

She'll flat out tell you if you're better off representing yourself or not. It took me 24 months from the time I applied to the time I finally got my first check. But I didn't hire Beth until the last six months.

But I am an adult, unable to work full time. I don't know what the requirements are for children.

I can't really offer any advice for you, but when I was a kid it took my mom 7 or 8 years to get benefits for me and my brother! I highly recommend seeing an attorney. If my mom had then she might have gotten our benefits a lot sooner. I remember that we had several hearings, and numerous appeals. Good luck.

I can't really offer any advice for you, but when I was a kid it took my mom 7 or 8 years to get benefits for me and my brother! I highly recommend seeing an attorney. If my mom had then she might have gotten our benefits a lot sooner. I remember that we had several hearings, and numerous appeals. Good luck.
