I'm not a parent so I can't comment about starting nebs or anything, but I just wanted to agree about keeping him at home. You can't protect him from everything, but a doctor's waiting room is full of germs. If the doctor's appointment wasn't for *him* there's no reason for him to be there. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I always seem to get better... go back to the doc's for my checkup, and then pick up something again, lol.

my kids are not the typical case - but I'll tell you what happened with them...they were both very late diagnosis so we didn't start any nebs until we saw symptoms - my daughter already had symptoms at diagnosis so she started right away - but my son was dx at 18 years old and didn't show any symptoms and therefore we didn't do any nebs until 21 when he started coughing up stuff.

About your husband and his bubble boy comment -- I very much agree with what superryan said -- yes you are justified in doing some simple, common sense things like keeping him away from obviously sick people - no, keeping him away from everyone and everything is not the solution, but simple things like thinking things through about the dr. office is a smart decision on your part.
