DS is used to swallowing 4-6 enzyme capsules in one shot, followed by a a drink of milk, water... I have put the whole enzyme capsules on a spoonful of applesauce, too.
The "I'm full" sounds like a power struggle issue. DS isn't a big eater or drinker -- he's more of a snacker. Meal times he dawdles and drives me nuts. Says he's full and negotiates with his dad as to how many more bites or drinks he has to have before he's done.
Some people split up enzymes -- give a couple right before eating, maybe during and some after. We just give them all at once before a meal, though with snacks, I'll let him eat a bit and then give him an enzyme or two. Last night while I was driving home he ate a package of peanuts he dug out of his backpack and I couldn't reach my purse to hand him some enzymes, so the minute I got in the door, I gave him a few with some juice.
Somewhere I read enzymes were good for a certain amount of time -- half hour to an hour... Hopefully someone here has the correct answer...
