I think I just posted a reply in one of the other forums to you, but welcome to the site - I've found lots of comfort in sharing with others here - especially on those days when you're just ticked off and want to vent<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Your story sounds a little like mine - although my husband and I have been married for 13 years - he was three weeks away from coming home from a six month deployment when I found out our first child, Sydney who was two at the time, had CF. It definitely can bring a grown man to his knees - it's a heart wrenching thing to have to tell someone on a day that's supposed to be so happy. Somehow we got through it, and since have had our son, who is 3, that also has CF. It's a busy life, but we manage. If you're ever given the opportunity to get stationed it Groton, CT - Connecticut Children's Medical Center has an oustanding clinic. It's worth a fight! When are you due to transfer and are you enrolled in the EFMP?
