I just wanted to join in and say he'll have a blast. I went to a friend's party at Chuck E Cheese when I was 6 or 7 and it was easily one of the best memories from my childhood. Just a few friends doesn't sound too bad either. Hope it goes smoothly for you, and fun for him. (pre-happy birthday to him!)
