It makes me so mad that they even use ingredients like this. There are alternatives available that aren't toxic.
Just goes to show that corporations can't be trusted to a certain extent, and we need more oversight and safety checks.
We should all contact the companies and demand that they use a safer ingredient. We are the consumer, and we can make a difference if enough of us raise a stink.
The best defense against toxins in our world is really good nutrition, extra nutrients, herbs to detoxify the liver (especially Milk Thistle) and exercise.
Our kids go through enough, and this is just more more hurdle.

The CFF website says..."It is the "enteric-coating" on the beads that may contain phthalates."


My daughter takes Creon5 but she is too young to swallow the pills so we open the capsules and mix the bead with applesauce.

From that statement it seems to me that this would be a way around the ingesting the phthalates.
