Respirtech or Hill-rom?

I have had a Hill-Rom vest since... close to when they were first put on the market. I honestly don't care for it and never have. It just doesn't help me get the crud out. I prefer manual CPT. Right now I am trying out the Frequencer, so far my opinion is so so. But I will let you know in about a week or two to see how it works in the longer term. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I am doing a trial for two weeks of the Respiratech, I have had the Hill-rom for the past 12 years, and might I say the size has changed dramatically as well as the noise level. I have the latest which is the smallest but I questioned if it is still working for me. So I get to borrow the Respriatech for two weeks. I have heard some people have switched to Respiratech and others prefer their hill-rom. I guess it isn't one size fits all, whatever works for someone is what you have to use.

Random PS. I've had my Respirtech for 2 years now. I had an issue yesterday and they are overnighting me a new device today.

No questions asked.

They are INCREDIBLE and of course they are always working closely with Warwick to tweek the device.

The new one I'll get will have 12 frequency changes instead of 10; it has a timer now to say how much longer there will be in the 30 minute treatment cycle; and it pauses every 5 minutes now to remind the patient to cough (per warwick's instructions).

Amazing company

I have an old hill-rom. I have never liked it, and it never really worked for me. I tried the Respirtech for a few weeks and liked it better but still no success in getting anything up. I think each of us is different, my advise -- try them all, see what works best for you and then go for it... Good luck..
