My plate's pretty full right now with my nebs. I began Cayston-first round, yea! Quite a love hate relationship...so much work. Makes baby bottles look easy.

I do albuterol, then hypertonic, finish my vesting...then pulmozyme, then pulmicort, then Cayston.
In the morning, I'm finding that by the time baby is up, 4 yr old is up and all are fed and clean and I'm fed, I'm not getting to Cayston till like 10-11 some days. Which is putting my later doses just too late in the day. (I'm not getting to bed till 12ish most nights)
While we all transition through this I was wondering if it would be ok to do my alubterol and Cayston very early in the morning like, 7-8...then once the kids are up and cleaned and theres no interuptions, by 9ish I can do hyp sal and the rest.

I'm trying to give this my all, but I'm feeling completely overwhelmed right now with such long therapies, 4yr olds demands, and my little guy.-And they're really good kids, but I'm sitting on nebs and vests for 2.5+hrs a day. Its alot (as you all know).
I'm right there with you...I've been taking Cayston on and off for about a year now and it is really hard to fit it all in!! I do less nebs than you, so my advice might not be that helpful. I normally do my vest at 7:30 or 8 in the morning. while I'm doing that I take pulmozme and hyper sal. Then I take a shower and do a saline nasal rinse. AFter that I take my first dose of Cayston which ends up being about 8:30 or 9 in the morning. Then I *try* to do my next dose as close to 4 hours later as possible. So that puts that dose at about 12:30 or 1 in the afternoon. That works out pretty good if I stick to it because then my 1 year old is napping, and my 3 year old is "resting" (watching a show). Finally, around 4 in the afternoon I do my second vest/hyper sal/pulmozyme and then final Cayston about 4:30/5 ish. When I'm done with all my nebs and vest before dinner it makes my nights soooo much more relaxing. So I make that my goal each day. cooking dinner and putting kids to bed (and cleaning) is simple when that's all I have to do!

It is definately hard to fit so much into each day. And I love my "month off". Keep sticking with it. The more you stick to a routine, the whole things starts to feel less daunting. And the kids will get into the routine too...my son asks me "what are we going to do today after your vest and shower?" Instead of just "what are we going to do today"

In addition, when I do my vest/nebs I do it in my bedroom with the kids in there with me. I have books and toys (and a trampoline) for them to play while I do it. I pretty much ignore them and focus on what I'm doing and it works out well most of the time. The less attention I give them the better they are at entertaining themselves and not fighting!

Hope it helps to hear you are not alone. Keep working hard

Breakfast was holding me up in the morning, Isaac is a slow eater, so our routine is to get breakfast and head to the living room as much as I hate the idea of teaching him to eat in the living room. I start my cf treatments while he eats his breakfast at a little IKEA table. When he is done he can watch an episode on TV (I don't believe in eating whilst watching TV) while doing his vest. As another person mentioned, I only try to ensure 4 hrs between doses. This last month my dosing schedule has often been 9, 5, 10...not the best but it will do. I'm just happy if I get all 3 done. This summer, w/o routine I have had some trouble some times only doing 2 doses.

Well I'm glad to hear 4 hrs is fine-I was under the false impression it was 6 on the dot.
That makes my life alot easier.
I'm tired of going to bed at 12 every night.

Feeling like all this therapy is keeping me from having any life. If it helps I'm sure it will all be worth it though...
