I found that if I did my albuterol first the irritation in the throat wasn't as bad, and doing it every other day to start out. I have major problems with hemoptysis and I haven't seen that it makes it worse.

I have been on the 3% for 9 months. I just ordered the 7%. i will have it next week. Unfortunately, there is not id billing number on it yet, so it cannot be billed to my insurance company. The place my doctor told me to contact is Foundation Care in Missouri. It is $1.50 a dose but they give you a break if you buy 2 months worths. So I did. $150. I guess you have to look at it as what is your health worth to you. Mine is definately worth another $900 a year.

hmm...i am not sure it should be costing this much. i use a different brand that makes 3 percent and 10 percent and one could mix the two to get an appx 7 percent solution. the company is in california. not sure of the name. i'm not at home right now or i would check.

My doctors suggested here in Pennsylvania that I try it. However, the CF Pharmacy wants $111.00 a month for the 3% and 10% solutions. Which I still have to mix to get the 7% solution. My insurance would not cover it. I think the price is CRAZY for STERILE SALINE. Even if you can get it elsewhere for $75.00 a month, who can afford that??? My health is worth it, but I can't swing that with all my other meds. I even have two incomes, and I can't afford that. I think the price for the saline is CRAP. I believe it works!!! I really do!!! I just can't try it now.
