France is going to 1/2 day Kindergarten this year, so I'm looking at all of this and getting ready to fight the proverbial good fight for next year-- thanks for the info, ladies!

Cheyenne has breakfast at school at 8, a snack at 9:45, lunch at 11:30 and a snack again at 1:30. She gets out of school at 3, so then she gets a snack at home.

Cheyenne usually eats about every 30 minutes to an hour so this is not really to her liking, but I am a little more comfortable with it this year.

Paula:

My soon to be 1st grader went to the clinic at school 3 times a day during the school day. Once for pediasure & a snack (I bought alot of his favorites and he could choose what he wanted each day) and once again during the day for another pediasure and then once a day for enzymes before lunch. It seemed to work out ok and that is the plan again for this year. I haven't got to have a meeting with his 1st grade teacher yet, but I have called the principal to set up a a 504 plan for him. The principal thought it was a great idea. It makes it tough each year starting over with a new teacher and going over all my CF sons needs. Good luck!

My son Aidan will be starting preschool in September. We have an IEP for him and a 1:1 nurse has been hired for him. He will receive all meds in the classroom. I do not want him to be in the nurse's office where all the sick kids are. The nurse will be responsible for keeping the toys relatively clean, giving Creon before snacks, making sure kids aren't coughing on him and things of that nature... I think this is the best situation for Aidan.
