More power to you Chrissyd. All my family members smoked all my life.
The only thing that has finally come close to helping is my mom came down with Bladder Cancer. Unbelievable. My sister and I both CF'ers grew up in a house full of smokers. Even my brother (non CF) is a smoker. I don't get it. My mom has recently quit cause of her cancer. What a slap in the face. Don't get me wrong, I do love her and have compassion for her cause it is an addiction but pleasessssss.

My mother always wondered why My husband and I rarely came over.
What!!!!!

Ok I'll breath now and shut up. hee hee.
It is a subject close to my heart and lungs. It pisses me off.
Oh and Chrissyd I love your rose.

My son has CF and as of a year ago, our entire county is now smoke-free. You can't smoke in public places or within 10 feet of an entrance. It is so nice. And believe it or not, I live in Alabama. I went to Atlanta a few weeks ago and it seemed like everyone was smoking!!! I didn't really realize how rarely I even see smokers now. Push for legislation in your area.
