Sense of Smell

My husband has had 13 sinus surgeries and has absolutely no sense of smell! He got used to it however, but I can only guess how weird it must be to walk around and smell nothing...

Me too. I've had two sinus surgeries and have a pretty iffy sense of smell. Some things I smell fine (usually bad things) but a lot of things other people comment on I can't smell at all.

I've never had sinus surgeries or sinus issues of any kind, other then when I've had a cold and I don't have a sense of smell either. I've always wondered why that is & just chalked it up to good ole CF.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

I miss being able to smell. Maybe it has been ten years or more ...............I want to defy the doctors who tell me it probably won't come back.
