I like peanut butter. Alot.

If I had it as a PBJ, it's nice, but you only fit about 2-3 tbs of pb in it before it's too much. However if I put about a tbs on ryvitas, rice cakes, and oat cakes, I can easily eat about 6! Plus I top it with raisins and drink with a choc soymilk. That makes a very very easy lunch/snack of 1000 calories. Hard core.

Also I love chickpeas and other types of bean and they totally soak up oil and the like. So I get a can of chickpeas/ canellini beans, put in a bowl with some chopped tomatoes, a few cashews, loads of garlic powder and then loads of olive oil. That would be about 600 calories and whilst it's filling it's really really healthy.

Ready break is good cause you can load it up with peanut butter, protein powder, dried fruit, chocolate powder ect. Yummm

Ooh ooh - seeded breads? I know their kind of filling so maybe not best for children, but since their really high fibre and also fattier they are good for our digestion? If I buy the thin sliced stuff it has about 120 kcals per slice, I can manage two or three slices toasted with loads of spread and marmite on it so I figure that's a pretty good snack.

For more protein I have a couple of slices with tonns of full fat hummus on it and top with grated carrots, cucumber, spinach ect. Then I balance out the healthy-ness by eating loads of kettle chips with it...

I got in to the habit of adding 1TBS flaxseed to my cereals which I don't really notice the taste but since it's high calorie and high fibre it seems to be a good idea?!

Wow, I really never knew that about bread. But I fell in love with Hummus while in the middle east and I never even thought of using it as a source for calories, healthy, easy and totally doable....
