Tom, I was just saying that if the bannings of so many valuable members without true cause and the deleting of so many important threads had not occurred over here at cf.com there would be no need for it to be discussed over there at cf2chat.

Those things should have never occurred in my opinion, but since they did I feel like it should have been discussed over here so that the people on this site where all of the drama started would understand why so many over there are now having to discuss this topic just to try to gain some sort of peace.

Peace? Its been a year now. I would think the need to hash it over and find peace was more than met sometime in the last 12 months. Most message boards I participate in will automatically censor and ban attempts to insult the sight, including links to sites known to be insulting by nature.

Life is too short to hold a grudge. We all ought to know that most of all.

And, you aren't going to hear from Tom much today. He's got major stuff going on at work and is on duty when he gets home so I can get enough sleep to be functional, which 3 hours in the last 24 is not getting me.

Honestly though, I've never participated in a message board that would allow continued attacks on the sight. I don't get what is so hard to understand about that. And,I don't get why anyone thinks its appropriate to dredge it back up after a year.

look at online media services such as cnn.com, bizweek, etc etc. they have similar biz models to this site. users can call articles, writers, or each other idiots and bash content.

this is web 2.0. you can't stifle customer comments. maybe 10 years ago that worked, but the business world just doesn't work like that any longer.

It has been going on for the past year - it wasn't just brought up after a year.

And you weren't kicked off the site without an explanation. It's very hurtful and I bet you might have the same reaction if suddenly, right now, you were banned from a site you cared deeply about with friends who had become family due to a common, horrendous illness.
