One of the top Mycobacterium docs in the country said if nothin else works, he is not opposed to his patients trying it...this guy is an ID guy I went to in Tyler, Texas of all places.

I think this is probably the same one who helped my kids. Our doctor had a great network.

Richard Wallace....he is the "it" guy on mycobacteriums. National Jewish in Denver is excellent as well...but they are soooo negative about these bugs...I can't get my arms around that kind of negativity. My cf doc is bff with these guys...dang it!!! National Denver says never transplant mycobacterium...but it is done at some centers with a huge variation in success rate.

I have inhaled Advanced Colloidal Silver from Utopia silver twice. The first time was 2 years ago. The second time was a month ago. I had ordered 2 bottles and I opened a new one to use it in inhalation last month to be on the safe side. It didn't go well. My lungs reacted to it and became inflamed. A day later I had the biggest episode of hemoptysis since my embolization. I then remembered that it was the reason why I had discontinued it in the first place, because it causes me inflammation. I personally have concerns about the possibility of catching new bacterias from inhaling this. I highly doubt that these products meet the requirements to be considered as sterile so there are good reasons to be concerned about contamination. It's even worse considering that most CS products are sold in 200mL bottles or more. We all know that more than single use containers are more than very prone to contamination. This case reports the kid taking it orally though. That is probably still worth a try. (I have yet to try it, I never think of taking it.) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2443992/

i have been taking colloidal silver (oraly and inhaled) several times in the last three or four years. everytime i felt a cold comming up i started taking it. in 90% of the cases the illness immediatly stopped getting worse and after two or three days i was absolutely well again. only in some cases i got really sick after starting to drink it. in these cases i inhaled it with my nebulizer and after a few days i was fine again. haven't needed an antibiotics in years.

but that's only what i've experienced and i don't want to encourage anyone in doing something like this.
also i have to say that i make the colloidal silver myself at home, so i know that it's pure. i also wouldn't inhale something that i bought in some onlineshop.

MY friend was actually just telling me something he had read about silver. However, he mentioned how a couple had all the doorknobs and such in their house -- pretty much everything you touch all the time --made of silver and how they never get sick because of it. Completely different from inhaling colloidal silver, but I wonder if making a change like that would be beneficial....
