I'll say a prayer for you for a quick & pain-free (we can dream, can't we? lol) recovery. Keep us posted on how you do.
Will you be in the hospital for a few days, or is this an outpatient procedure?

My daughter (4) just had sinus surgery at the end of February. She was asleep, it took longer than expected bc her sinuses were bulging from infection and she had a polyp that almost filled an entire cavity. She was on round the clock tylenol/motrin with a fever (which is normal) for 5 days. Her main complaint was that her neck was sore. Apparently called referred pain, the pain can be referred to the neck. That was suprising. She feels MUCH better now, is glad she can breath, smell, etc and is very willing to do twice daily sinus rinses in hopes of avoiding this again!

I am sure the thought of the surgery isn't real exciting but the feeling better part will be great! Good luck with your surgery!

Yeah, I'm not sure how mine are doing so far... I am having one small polyp removed which I'm not nervous about at all...I'm actually pretty excited to not have my nose running all the time because of it. They are doing a sinus scan as well though, so we'll see what the damage is...
