Smoking relatives

this is a huge family fight with me every time we go visit....my advice is to stay in a hotel. if we stay with family that smokes it always leads to somethign that cost a lot more than me getting a hotel would cost!!

Well, wow. Thanks for the input, all of you. Of course I was never a fan of smoke as a kid, but my dad was always very polite-- as best a smoker can be: he'd hang it out the car window and blow the smoke straight out; he only smokes in the house in his room or the garage, etc. Another part of my equation is that my cf'er has no lung impairment at all yet (thank you, thank you, thank you). All hotels in Alaska are smoky and have air freshener thingys anyhow. May take over a girlfriend's house while she house sits for someone else.
