If that doesn't work, every single time you see him, punch him right in the eye extremely hard. Eventually, no matter how selfish or dense he may be, he will get the point. BTW there should be a law where if a child has a lung problem, like CF and the parents/family members smoke around them they should be charged with endangerment laws. People who smoke around their kids with lung problems and know what it does and use the "It's my right" angle, make me want to throw them in front of a subway train.
