Marjolein, I hope they are able to figure out really soon what is wrong and that you are breathing much better soon. Also hope it isn't any type of rejection!

Thank you all very much for the lovely messages.

I had the big set of pft's this morning, with bodybox and all. They measured everything. Most things were the same but the test with the bodybox showed that the resistance (or pressure?) in the lungs is more then it was with my one year check-up. In februari it was high, in august it was lower(almost normal) and now it is right in between.
In a way i am glad they did found something, and that i'm not imagining this feeling.
They just did a lavage of my sinusses to see if i culture any virusses and they did bloodtests this morning. Regular things really, prograft level, Epstein Bar Virus and CMV.
The bronch is schedueled for somewhere tomorrow. It is almost sure that they won't take any bites from my lung, but they will do a lavage and see if they can see some kind of obstruction.

I don't know about allergies Risa.. The nurse practitioner did ask me if i had been out of country recently..

I will ask if i could be a reaction to something. Though i don't know what it would be then.. The only 'new' med i had till yesterday is Cipro, but it started a week into the course really.. So i don't think it is that. And i don't know what other 'new' things i could have been in contact with.

So we'll see what is going to happen in the next few days.

I'm sorry to hear you're having more problems, this really sucks for you, you're problems are supposed to bugger off after you've had a transplant!! gggrrrrrr!! my only thoughts are hayfever? it's spring over here now so must be fall over there and for the first time ever i've noticed i have blocked sinuses, pressure and tightness in my chest, some SOB and headaches - turns out i get hayfever and didn't even know it!! so i now take 1 x Telfast a day (allegra over there?) and all my symptoms are gone. my other thought is are you taking a magnesium supplement? are you even allowed to post tx? cipro used to make me anxious, SOB, nauseous and dizzy, turned out it was only a magnesium deficiency brought on by taking the Cipro. Worth considering, have a chat to your docs about it. If that's all it is, it will be a lot easier to treat than doing bronchs and stuff.
