Man am I having that day today!! I totally hear ya!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> Today I took my kids to the spray park, it is really cool with lots of fun stuff. MY cfer is really healthy right now so that was fine.
My noncfer has an undiagnosed auditory processing disorder (undiag. b/c of his age 5 you have to be 7...to got dx) he was tearing around the paddling pool when he splashes a 1 yo and her mom. This mom then leaves her kid standing in arm pit deep water to grab my son by the arm twist him around to face her and starts her lecture! Have you ever grabbed someone elses kid and twisted their arm??? so .
I walked over and politely said " he doesn't understand you" She looked at me shocked and said " but he kicked water at my kid" I said " yes I'm sorry but he doesn't understand you!"
Then when we left the park to go feed the ducks he gets bit by a swan!

That is awful. But yeah that's the kinda thing I was ranting about. Like why would some one leave their kid alone to be rude to another persons child. You must more calm them me cause. If someone grabbed my kid they may have gotten a few choice word. It's like yesterday my youngest and I were waiting for his brother and dad to come out of the stores bathroom. He was rocking and flapping and chanting and an employee gave us a death look came up and just stared at him and said I can't beilieve how some ppl let their kids act. So I asked if she needed help w/anything did a PSA and said maybe you should think about these things before you try to make someone feel bad. Mike's speech therapist is on mommy leave and we just got a stand in and I think she doesn't work with autistic kids much because she gave this big speech on he should know his colors abc's & letters. IT just flat out made me feel like a bad mom. But I told her he calls me and everyone else dad I can't touch his head hands or get him to look at me or let me hug him.

This would be the most difficult for me. No matter how bad things are in our house a hug fixes it all. WIll he allow you to show affection any other way?
