But I told her he calls me and everyone else dad I can't touch his head hands or get him to look at me or let me hug him.</end quote>

This would be the most difficult for me. No matter how bad things are in our house a hug fixes it all. WIll he allow you to show affection any other way?

sometimes he will let us sit by him as long as we don't touch him.

Man am I having that day today!! I totally hear ya!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> Today I took my kids to the spray park, it is really cool with lots of fun stuff. MY cfer is really healthy right now so that was fine.

My noncfer has an undiagnosed auditory processing disorder (undiag. b/c of his age 5 you have to be 7...to got dx) he was tearing around the paddling pool when he splashes a 1 yo and her mom. This mom then leaves her kid standing in arm pit deep water to grab my son by the arm twist him around to face her and starts her lecture! Have you ever grabbed someone elses kid and twisted their arm??? so .

I walked over and politely said " he doesn't understand you" She looked at me shocked and said " but he kicked water at my kid" I said " yes I'm sorry but he doesn't understand you!"

Then when we left the park to go feed the ducks he gets bit by a swan!

What a crappy day<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>

I want to knock her on her ass.......where is she? Let me at her! I dont care how a child is acting, a stranger has no right to put their hands on them. They should go to the adult with them. UGGGGGGG</end quote></div>

Oh, I wish you could hug him too. That is a cure all in my house also.
I wonder if there is some sort of connection between the cf mutated gene and autism? There seem to be a few of us on here with a cfer and an autism something er other?

By the way Thank You for your support! I guess I've learned to be calm when dealing with my son, ranting and shouting and physical farce would really freak him out. The look on her face when I came up behind her was priceless... I should have Kicked her in the chops!!
