Hi there,

My Ellie went through a very similar situation. She is currently on regalan and prevacid for her severe reflux. What helped us with the diaper rash was definitely aring it out. We also made a butt pase with mylanta and corn starch to ease the acidity. My doctors also gave us a recipe for some wonderful butt cream. 30mg nystain, 30mg hydrocortisone, 30 mg aquaphor, 30mg questran, and 30 mg bacitracin. Mix it all together and slathe ron thick. The nystatin and questran are prescriptions and were kind of pricey but the cream worked wonders. Good luck, this phase is not fun at all but I promise you it gets better.

We went through the same thing with my oldest son who is now 8 years old. He was changed to several different kinds of formula before we got the right fit. The kind that we had to get had to be special ordered from the store and it was not cheap.

I remember the projectile puking, he seemed to do it at the most unconveinent times. They also put him on acid reflux medicines Zantac and then to Prilosec which helped with the puking. He is actually still on the Prilosec to this day and so is our 3 year old son. It does get better believe me. Feel free to ask any questions that you have, a lot of us on here were where you are once. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">
