Unfortunately, that was the same issue DS had -- his obstruction was located in his midsection due to narrowing/adhesions and everything got bogged down there, past that the rest of his small intestine and colon were empty.

Here's hoping you'll get answers soon and that M isn't going stir crazy. You're in my thoughts!

Hope M is progressing okay and they're working to get him cleaned out. And while I'm sure you'd all much rather be at home, I'm glad the other doctor stepped in to "get to the bottom of this"
