well, my pari pro neb ultra ii DIED last night. i think it was no longer creating enough air pressure to work properly. *sigh* i called Pari. they do not repair only replace these models (can someone say "they don't make 'em like they used to!") i have to send in my old one, they test it and such and get back to me within 48 hours of when they recieve it. then they send out a new one. i'm figuring it will be 3-5 days until i see a new one. what am i supposed to do??
meanwhile, i have a Pari Trek, which i have not put my hands on since i moved 2 months ago. i have searched the house and cannot find it. it is very frustrating to lose something anyway, let alone when your health depends on it!
i figured my best option was to order a new Trek. they have a newer model out than the one i have, the S. i found a company with a great price--$68!!--and paid another $50 on top of that to have it overnighted to get here by wednesday.
what am i going to do for two days?!? doing my vest doesn't really do anything without my hypertonic. i've just been trying to cough stuff up and stay hydrated. any other suggestions?? help!

i woke up this morning and my Pari Trek had arrived!! it felt like christmas. i actually called the guy at the company i ordered from to thank him. when i ordered yesterday (about 4:30 p.m. by the time all was said and done) he said he'd try to get it out yesterday but it would probably go out this morning and arrive wednesday. (i paid an extra $50 to have it overnighted.) what a difference a day makes without meds--i'm SO happy it got here.
just a little note, the Trek S is smaller and a lot quieter than the old Trek. it also comes in a cute little case. the neb stream is strong, but it seems to slow a bit when using it for as long as i do my vest (30 mins.) also, instead of having a slot on top where you can rest the neb cup when not in use, there is a place for the end of the butterfly tubing to fit into--i just figured that out--pretty clever.
