sweat test

Hey everyone, My friend at work thinks that his little girl might have cf and they did a sweat test the other day. He was wondering how long it takes to get the results. We never had a sweat test done on Lily so I don't know the answer to that. If someone could give me something today that would be great. I would like to give him some info. I know how hard it is to go with no answers.

With DS, his was done in the morning and we got the results back that afternoon. He was at a hospital that had an accreditted CF Clinic. A friend of mine's granddaughter with the same mutation -- they were told immediately. They were at a CF Clinic.

My son is the king of sweat tests - had 6 done at 3 different facilities (each facility wanted their own people to do the sweat test, didn't believe the other facilities were doing them accurately - it's an ego thing I think). In most instances we knew the results within 4 hours at the most. One time it took overnight, but that was because the doctor didn't call us back right away.
