i voted "undecided"
I def. do not want to be among the first few thousand to get it, i'd rather be way farther down the line to see what after-effects come with it (if any) I get a regu;ar flu shot every year , but i am not comfortable with getting a shot that was put together in a hurry, if you know what i mean.

Hi. I would like to leave my input on this:

My doc said we should only get the shot IF we actually get swine flu. If that's what you mean then for sure i will get it if i get swine flu.

</end quote></div>

What's your doctors logic in vaccinating for the swine flu if you actually get the swine flu? That makes no sense at all.

Are you talking about Tamiflu? Maybe you misunderstood the question.

A vaccine is meant to prevent a virus or bacteria - it's not meant to treat the virus or bacteria once you get it.

I know a handful of CFer's who have had swine flu in the US and they're just fine.

Wash wash wash wash washer your hands! And don't rely on hand sanitizer - it might not kill this virus (just like it doesn't do a good job of killing MRSA or C Diff).

I totally understand what you're saying! My GP said I should, but I'm a bit nervous about it. We'll see what my CF doctor says...
