Hi, I haven't posted in a while, but I would like your input on an issue I'm dealing with.
This weekend my bf and I went away to a village outside of Madrid with some friends. Before we went we celebrated my birthday and I ate too much cake, and had an upset stomach on the way there. Also I had a bit of something in my throath, nothing mayor. But after walking around the village on Saturday morning, I got a bit exhausted and starting feeling a bit poorly. Upset stomach, chills and tired body. It continued the time we were there, resulting in my bf saying that it's best if I don't return to the village for weekends any more; since this is the third time that I've been there, and every time there is some kind of health issue. Last time was in June/July last year, and it was very warm and I had difficulties in breathing. My friends and my bf were enjoying the trip, out taking long walks etc. while I stayed behind in the car waiting, by choice. Now back home, we have talked about that I can't go on trips etc, because everytime there is something. We can't go to Paris or London, or Egypt as we have talked about. Because my bf doesn't want me to get ill.
But can this really be true? This is going to be my life? Just having to have to stay home? I am only diagnosed about 2 years ago, and have "mild cf". Are there others like me? What do you do when you start to feel poorly on a journey? Or do you just stay at home? In your rutine?
Pleas give me your input. I work but I want to have some sort of life as well...
