It sounds like you have gotten some great advice- that I may take as well, haha!

One more thing I would like to add. I did not see you list this- but I drink anywhere from 4-8 Ensure Plus' a day. They help me maintain/put on weight. I drank them like crazy while I was nursing both of my children. Not only did it help me maintain weight so I could continue nursing, but it gave both me and my children the added nutrients that I know are harder for my CF body to absorb.

Good luck!

Hum, Ill have to think of what I can do to get my heart rate up that high. I'm sure its going to be something I have to work myself into though. I dont even know if it gets that high when I am actually running. (I have issues with low low blood pressure and heart rate).</end quote></div>

Everyone's individual exercise tolerance will vary for sure.

I failed to mention that for myself, I couldn't do more than 5 minutes at a time for cardio (heart rate in the 155 range). It took probably 3-4 months to get up to 30 minutes... so you're right on, it's something you'll have to work up to.

I should have said that earlier - I think I was so excited about all the other tips hahaha <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> So i'm glad you brought it up.

Again, all the best on the surgery tomorrow

I know I'm starting to get really excited about my health. Its been a long time since I was down this bad -so maybe its a good wake up call. Plus I have this adorable little girl that calls me 'mom' and I'd hate to leave her without her favorite person!
