Tess what part of Canada are you from again? I can ask around for you, because I know of some really good artists in the Halifax/New Brunswick area who can draw something up for you. They do that free of charge usually. All you have to do is give them your ideas.

I've had this for about 8 years now and am looking to get another. I want something with both kids name on.

Heres mine, I just got it today. The hearts represent my hubby and eldest son and the two roses for the twins! Hope this works.

Okay I'm a big baby, but I forgot how bad these itched when they were healing. I'm about two seconds away from taking something sharp to my new ink.... Oohhhh it sounds so good. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0">

(Note: I'm kidding about sharp things... but oh man does it itch like a mother)

If I could figure out how to post pics I would. Mike has a ton of tattoos... some are tribal and some have significance, like the gargoyle protecting the front of his chest and the dragon protecting his rib cage on the back. Then he has one really awful one on his leg done in his youth...
Since he can't get any tattoos post-transplant (debatable, I know, but the doctors advise against it), his mom and I agreed that one year after the transplant we will get tattoos for him. Neither of us have any now and we are kind of sissies about the pain but we'll do it for him ;-)

Lubriderm. You should put a bottle of Lubriderm in your frig and wait till its cool. Then apply a thin layer to your ink. Or aloe vera gel would work too. If it itches that badly you should slap it lightly too, just to take the itch away.

How cool is that. I have a dragon on my back as my protector, and for my birthday Cory is paying for my next tattoo that I've wanted for so long: a girly gargoyle on my ribcage.

I have one but I'm having a hard time getting the file to attach. Any way the blue and red roses are for CF and the fairy is for my freind Tilly who died.

I'd never thought/heard of the gargoyle/dragon thing! What an awesome idea!!!!! Do tats really hurt on your chest???

So far here are the two that I have, the cross is in honor of my dad who passed away. The other one is one that I wanted just because. I didnt want the normal tribal graphics so I went with something like tribal but different, like me <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> My next one will be a CF one I am just not sure where to put it or exactly how I want it to look.

Here's my new tattoo!  I just got it this past Saturday, so
its still shiny.   It took 2.5 hours to do, and was based
off of my original design.  I made the wings tattered to
represent the fact that CF can beat me up all it wants, but I'm
still able to come back swinging!
