Well...I suppose I should be quiet now...I have someone who apparently is a devout follower of Jesus. That is fine. Nothing at all wrong with that. But they are castrating me for demanding of fact, when there is literally nothing besides predisposed scripture to substantiate their main deity. Their is no "factual" basis for anything from your perspective, yet you demand it from me. To me, this movie has been a movie that has helped me put the previous orphaned puzzle pieces into place. I knew about Y, I knew about W, I knew about T, but I did not see why/how those things could possibly be related. I went to college. I was educated. I graduated with a very high GPA. That means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, because it is just other people parlaying their views, biasness, and strengths into my mind. I am only whole when I 100% (or as close as possible) make up my own mind. I use logic, facts, statistical probability, and general psychology to understand what the ground my feet is placed upon, is made of.

I understand the main reason you have a problem with this movie is due to the religious aspect. That is fine. You can believe in a giant flying cookie monster that will come and save you from your life of horrible suffocation via cystic fibrosis. I don't care. Whatever floats your boat and makes you happy, and your life more fulfilled to me, is fine with me. But you are obviously uneasy knowing that people will look deeper into the epidemiology of religion.

Let's just say for the sake of argument everything I have said or referenced to is completely fake, and purposely misleading...Shouldn't you push your flock towards knowledge, data, and general information, even if it could possibly be incorrect? Wouldn't a proper shepherd want their flock to be exposed to all sorts of perspectives regarding their beliefs...To possibly realize that their way is indeed, the "way"?

If I at any point take your spiritual opiate away, please let me know. I will find another avenue to continue this discussion on...At least your church has asylum from the tax man...I know I don't

Humorism is the theory that the body is made up of four basic subsances, black bile, bile, phlegm, and blood, which need to be in balanace in order for a person to be healthy.

This has since been proven completely wrong, but according to you, we should still be teaching this theory of medicine as accurate in the interest of intellectual tolerance. Is that correct?

I see what you are trying to do. Trying to draw a parallel between an ancient medical belief held by the Romans and Greeks, to the content of this movie, based upon it's equally perceived asininity (in your opinion). Then correlate that angle towards me and what I may or may not believe from the movie, to insinuate I am feeble minded, or sleep with a tin foil hat. I give you bonus points for going as far as bringing up Humorism, that is such a stretch it was even surprising to me (and that doesn't happen often).

I'm not trying to "convert" anyone (unlike one of the main tenants of your faith) here. As I said before, people should always be exposed to information, and after they have been exposed to tons of it, draw their own conclusion based on logic, psychology, rationality, and history. Would the contents of this video be enough to convict in a criminal trial? Maybe not. But it sure as hell would in a civil trial.

If you drop the early aspects of Jesus from the film, and move straight onto purported false flag operations and corrupt practices of the U.S. government, given our past, and what the government has done to it's own citizens in the past, it's not a big pill to swallow to think they would continue that behavior against us.

I watched this film last night with two very religious Christian friends of mine. The thing is though, they are extremely bright. After the part of Christianity, they said "It totally makes sense to me. This doesn't mean there is no creator, but it makes perfect sense". Then after the movie was over, they both asked for a copy of the dvd, and told me it was the most amazing film they had ever seen. This does not mean everyone will feel this way. Many people get offended, angry, or scared when their deeply held strong beliefs are challenged with more than just baseless charges.

But you have made your opinion on the matter somewhat clear (I doubt you have watched the film, so given that and your belief structure, i'm sure you won't), and that is fine.

The history channel had a very good program on the other night that disproved the 911 conspiracy theory...you should try to watch it.
