-hide and go seek with the nurses is a fun game, you go off somewhere in the hospital right before meds and see how long it takes the nurses to find you
-find any excuse to go take a walk
-move the furnature around in the room, it freaks out the nurses
-stay up late, the hospital is so much more interesting in the middle of the night

Hehe...I so do the ones above. The hospital at night is so fun. You wouldn't believe how hopping it can be. I've made friends with many a night time security guard or night aid.
Here's a list of what I do:
- make friends with the night ward aides. I have them running around doing the weirdest stuff for me at night.
- I write on the white board at the end of my bed. I get everyone to sign it when they come in to see me.
- I always go for walks before night meds. It's interesting to see how many times they'll page you back.
- steal a wack of face masks, and color on them. Whenever I have to wear them, I'll color a duck bill on one and wear it around. Its hilarious to see the looks I get from people!
- If I'm in isolation and can't leave my room, I invite some friends over, and we do a late night hang out session. We all color on our masks, so it looks like we're all animals.
- I order food in a lot. It's funny to see how much you can bug the staff with the fabulous smell of your non-cafeteria food.
