I'm just "bumping" this item (I sure hope that's the correct term" <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

This is a topic I am interested in discussing and reading about.

These days I am a bit stressed, because I have a family event coming up, I am flying to Denmark, and I want to be healthy for it(not sick). I have a lot of things to do just before leaving(more work, a scan and collecting a new passport) and I worry that I am going to get exhausted before I can even leave the country.

I wish I could cut back at work, it would make my life a whole lot easier.

Anyone interested in discussing this topic? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I am a stay at home mom with CF. Even at home there are not enough hours in the day to do everything I would like. Between my treatments, housework, homeschooling my son... my day is pretty full. I have a Mac computer with Ical. I put everything in that application--daily appointments with myself. That really helps. If something doesn't get done (housework or extra projects) then I move it to another day. I am learning flexibility is the key.

Most of our friends are swamped during the school year with school, sports and such... so we don't see them very often.

I multi-task at every turn. Eat breakfast while I boil nebs, supervise homeschool lessons while I do my treatments, listen to my son read or make menus while I take my afternoon rest break. Make every movement/moment count.

I agree, there are not enough hours in the day! I have such a hard time fitting everything in to my days that sometimes I think I'm going crazy. Besides working full time, I have 2 toddler-aged boys, going to school for my master's degree, daily treatments, and a house to maintain. It can just be downright overwhelming at times. I hardly ever have "me" time, which can really get to me sometimes. But at the end of the day when I finally do get a minute to relax, I realize how happy I truly am and fortunate that I am able to do all the things I do. A good routine/schedule is key and things always seem to work themselves out. But oh man, will I be happy when school is finished this fall!!
