Thank you so much for posting this. I try and do the best for my children (both my kids have CF) and I worry every day that I am doing enough.

Did you ever grow up resenting your parents... I know it's genetics but was there a time where you thought it was their fault you are sick? I am only asking this because I am worried the girls will blame my husband and I.

I never resented my parents for even one second of my life. I have a great life, I have a great boyfriend (we have been together 27 years) and I also have CF - in that order. I try really hard not to let CF run my life. Sometimes it is easier than others. We don't have kids, but it had nothing (I repeat nothing) to do with me having CF. I don't know that you would know that I had CF if you saw me on the street. Your kids can have a great life to! Back to the original question - sorry I got distracted. I never resented my parents, I sometimes think that if one of my older brothers or sisters would have been the one to get it they might not have lived because the technology changed so much in the 17 years that my Mom was having children. Who knows...

Like I said, I have a great live, CF included, I have a great family and I have a great boyfriend, and I have a great dog. I am an extremely happy person, even when I have to go in the hospital I always try to think on the positive side. (maybe I am the one wearing rose colored glasses!)

I am around alot, I just don't post often. Feel free to ask me anything.
