My son is on glutathione (GSH), it has done wonders for his weight, six kilos in three months. We get it from theranaturals, here is a link for a forum where it is discussed:

Why not give it a try before doing anything more drastic? Here's a story's page from the same forum (you can see how people have gotten on over a few years).

There is also multiple posts on the adult's board about GSH and NAC (which works to prompt the body to produce GSH).

Just read aobve post mentions probiotics...this has also done wonders for Sam.

I have a huge burn & skin graft on my arm from an accident as a child. I am not disfigured, it is just a scar. A scar that I am happy to see on my arm and not on my face or somewhere else it could have been worse. Or that it didn't get a huge infection...positive thoughts! And I am sure when Erin gets to take her tube out, she will see it as a mark of progress. This is sort of a silly disagreement. As parents with kids of low weight right now, there is so much evidence of how important it is to get their weight up NOW for a better future. Like I said, weigh your options and make an informed choice for your child's individual situation. There are many methods out there, and hopefully they all have the similiar results...weight gain. It did for Erin, so my husband & I will not second guess our decision. BUT EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINION. This is really not a place for negative comments, but information to pass on to one another, even when there is a disagreement.

I just can't help and think of the the patients/parents 50 years ago. They didn't have this forum, this support, all of these choices for care. There is progress!!
