My fiancee just got out of the hospital and has had dizziness since she left. The doctors think the IV tobi she was on could have damaged her inner ears. I am fairly new to the problem & was pulled off my IV Tobra as soon as the doctor found out about it. My hearing & dizziness are much better. I havent had my hearing exam yet, but everything else has returned to normal thankfully!

I've experienced <b>extreme</b> dizziness from both Tobra and Coly. Coly especially throws my equilibrium off, I looked like a drunkard when I walked. The last time I took it, I was off balance and dizzy for about a year. I went through all kinds of ear tests, all came back normal. It gradually tapered off, and now it is gone.

hmmmm...I've had the dizziness when on the Tobramycin over the last 3 weeks, but not hearing problems. I thought the dizziness was because I wasn't getting near enough sleep with all of the IV hookup schedules.
Now I wonder if it was that, or something with my ears?
