I'll be starting it soon too. I'm hopeful that by receiving a well-concentrated, accurate dosing of tobra, I won't have so many exacerbations. I'm going to have to learn to stop calling it TOBI, since the medication is a different formulation of the abx.

I would LOVE to put TOBI in the e flow as it takes soooooo long to neb. How do I convince my cf team that this is ok. They only want me to use colistin in the eflow. Shhhh, I have been putting xpoenox & pulmozyme in it though! Plus isnt there a less potent form of TOBI when you use the eflow?<img src="i/expressions/neb.gif" border="0">

If you want studies to bring to your clinic, check out the eFlow versus old school compressor studies on my blog.

Scroll down to the left of my block, and under categories click eFlow.

TOBI is not what is put in the eFlow as lightNlife said. But the killing of the PA with the same molecule is the same. So not to worry.
