If you have the 104, then you're good to go my friend. You can call HillRom and ask them the engineering behind it as to why it works overseas (I know science... I don't know engineering). But I used it in Paris in April 2007 and Austria in January 2006 and both times it worked 100%.
I got the euro pari compressor (I didn't buy the nebs over there... i brought them from home) at an austrian pharmacy. but you can easily go to pari.com and look up a distributor. they're called "PARI BOY" over there. I actually ended up getting one in Japan too when i went a few months ago <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I have all 3 major continents covered now <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">
In terms of chest PT - as CFers we are more vulnerable to getting sick while traveling anyway, so going to 2nd class treatment (chest PT vs. the Vest) doesn't help the situation. So I agree with you 100%.
