To tell you the truth we have stayed in hotels lots of times with the vest and never even thought about the vest making noise. We have never had any issues.

The only issue we've had is that the televisions in hotel rooms usually have a volume limiter and our dd could not hear it over her vest. We usually ask the hotel about getting the volume limits set higher as soon as we check in. Though, if you check in on the weekends, they may not have a maintenance person available to do it.

We traveled this past summer with the vest and had no complaints. We requested a microwave and fridge in the room. If you aren't staying in a suite that already has them the hotels usually have a few and if you give them some notice they can make sure you have one in your room. We took clorox wipes and cleaned everything when we got there (never thought about the showerhead though, def will be adding that to my list!). We request new linens (she was still in a crib, but didn't want her to be laying on the bed and it be dirty) and no strong smelling cleaners be used prior to our arrival. We always get adjoining rooms when traveling with any family members.
