GIDDY UP! my first look in here at and i must say i can see there a
heap of passion in some people hey! i think passion is a link in
the liberation chain. anyway, i have been having "tune
ups"for the last ten years now and have gone from discharging
myself on the first day or going for a couple of quiet drinks at
the pub over the road from the hospital then coming back to the
ward at 7 the following morning, to really enjoying the two week
relax in hospital where i catch up with all the staff , get the
goss so to speak, get a bit of intense physio and iv's and
catch up on all the new dvd's..i actually have a great laugh in
hospital now & have met some fascinating people now i take time
to talk with them! when i get home i'm bouncing- play with the boys
& wrestle heaps (it sux the most when my boys miss out due to
shitty cf health, but as Homer Simpson would say,
"wotchagunnado?") i must add i am very wary of cross
infection & getting to close to anyone, maybe i could be
considered obsessive compulsive with hand washing and sterilizing
every bit of my bed ,little bedside locker t.v remotes phone (c wot
i mean!) etc but it has served me well thus far. for me the
benefits of tune ups out weighs the risks.i would rather have a
dozen plum sized haemorrhoids eternal than cf, however it certainly
adds alot of intriguing colour to my life i would not have had
otherwise!!! tchau all and i will leave a thought behind here.
