Hi all
i just talked to Marie on the phone again.
Her lungs and heart are doing really well. Her kidney's are doing much better again too and she hopes that monday will be her last dialysis!
She is going to have the surgery on monday too. It will probably not work right away she thinks, but we hope that she will be able to see much better again in about a week!
She said the past weeks have been really hard. That this has been much harder than her transplant. And that the recovery is going much slower.
But she will get there, step by step. And her eye just must get better!
The antifungal meds are making her see things she said. One time at night it was very scary she said and she couldn't find the alarm. She is able to get meds for that, for when it gets really bad. But luckily she has only had 2 hallucinations.
She is getting very bored in hospital right now, she has been there for s long, about 2 months in total now i think. She wants to be home next weekend <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
Now if the surgery for her eye will work then maybe she'll be home not next weekend but the weekend after that?.. I really hope so!
