I just received an email from Marie's dad.
Had said she is the the same, things are stable. They are keeping her asleep as that makes it all much easier for her.
She has Aspergillus Endocarditis of the Mitral Valve. This infection is very rare after lung tx. The clinic she is in has no experience with it. They know of 3 cases in Cleveland USA and that is the only reference they have.
Her dad has googled a bit and found a few articles, <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=1847926">this</a> is one of them.
Luckily this has a good outcome..
The plan is to operate on Monday or Tuesday, to replace the damaged valve.
Thank you all very much again for all the thoughts and prayers, they are very much appreciated
Love, Marjolein
