Yay Mel! Welcome home sweetie! I'm so glad you were able to come home and even got your Picc pulled!

You said your doctor has sent you to an ENT for him to check your vocal cord? Did they see something wrong with the bronch you had? Do they think your vocal cords might make you more short of breath? Just wondering cause that's what they think is going on with me and i am referred to an ENT now too.

Have fun at home!</end quote></div>

I had gone to a local ENT (only because it was convenient) who said my left vocal cord was paralyzed. This was causing the raspiness in my voice etc, but it also made it difficult to cough hard. I didnt think of the vocal cords being involved.

So even tho its better, its not right & since I have started Tobi again, Doctor wants to make sure the Tobi wont make it worse etc.</end quote></div>

Thanks Mel, for your reply. My bronch that the pulmonologist and my tx doctor (internal desease doc) did together showed that one of my vocal cords could be paralyzed too. It didn't look right when you saw it, like it was closing my airway a little. Now he has sent me to an ENT to hear if they can do anything about it.
My voice doesn't sounds any different though and i don't notice difficulty in coughing either..

Good luck with everything!
