USC or UCSD?

Historically I've heard bad things about UCSD, but I hear they're improving a bit from patients I hear that go there.
USC, on the other hand, is growing and isn't getting enough support from the hospital for the CF clinic. And you can feel it. That being said, I think Dr. Rao is incredible (although others certainly feel different). I think a big part of it is my personality - I am a hands-on, well-educated and proactive patient. I don't rely on him to bring up issues or to advise me - we're a partnership rather than me just relying on him to tell me what to do.
I have brought many many ideas to him and he is very open as long as I have the research to back it up.

Clinic appointments are in the evenings, which I like. That way don't have to miss work for clinics. PM me if you have specific questions.
