Thank you very much for the information.

I know I should be preparing her for an admission (I think one will be coming in the not so distant future). She was diagnosed at 8 years and her x-rays have been clear (the CF docs can see stuff in them that other docs would just pass over because it's so minor) and her FEV1 in october was 101. She has only cultured for staph. Now....her appointment this month her FEV dropped to 90 and the Dr could see more on her x-rays. He is assuming staph AND pseudo (new) until he gets cultures back and put her on 20 days of cipro and clindamycin.

Thanks again for the information. I want to be prepared for what I know is coming. Now I know there is another option to help her clear her mucus if/when that becomes more of a problem.
