Punkies,
Take a look. This is posted on a Democratic website. But just look up the info, you will find(and some are listed right on the democratic site) that most of the investigations are done by non-partisan groups.

Here is something interesting from the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
This suggest that it could definitely suck to need health care in the US!

Posted on Oct. 15.
"Check the facts - a lot of the problem with the economy was started BEFORE BUSH GOT IN OFFICE. Clinton made a LOT of bad decisions that pushed us into this recession, 9/11 just pushed us over the edge... "

Don't know who posted this. Not surprising
I am not claiming that I know that our budget is in trouble for a certain reason. I just wrote that the Bush administration has not been balancing their budget.
I would really like to see the credible source that the above quote gets their facts from. I am not trying to disprove anyone....I would just like to be more informed, and so would like to read the facts that you speak of.
Remember I am not trying to make a point, just stating what I have learned. I appreciate to learn what other people have learned. We just need to back our ideas with the real facts. Not that I am innocent here

Thanks

I think Jake has a good point. Many many of us make judgements about things we are not even close to informed about. Both sides clearly use "hot topics" like abortion to stir the publics emotions and make them decide on one candidate or the other. I think Kerry has a lot more going for him than Bush, and even the Republican Party has admitted that thier attack on Kerry for being a 'flip-flopper' is getting stale and might not serve them much longer. What I dont like about Bush is what I see as his blatant disregard for the American public's state of mind in the years following 9/11...he hardly ever addressed the nation with a clear explanation of what he was doing, and the administration completely messed with people's head with that ridiculous colour terrorist meter. They have used fear over and over again at key points to gain the approval of Americans. If you look at the history of when the 'terror alert in NY or DC has been raised to ORANGE" it is all during times when they need people to rally behind the president, such as, conveniently, right after the Dem. convention and before the Rep. one. How nice. I dont like Bush's attitude that "we are the greatest country in the world." Too many people have that attitude...other countries dont think that about us at all, and if a person went around thinking that they were the greatest person in the world, than they wouldnt get very far. He has too much arrogance for me, and his views on gay marriage are a hot spot that i will admit makes me disgusted by him. But i do realize that the election is more than gay marriage and abortion- way more, and i am willing to look at any candidate for everything they have, and Bush does not impress me whatsoever. By the way, D*ck (the site wouldnt let me type his name!) Cheney did not even VOTE in the 1992 election (what?!), and he was one of 2 people to Vote AGAINST letting Nelson Mandela out of jail. Not things that are imperative to OUR election, but a good representation of character. he's a creep.
