Brenda, Welcome, and, boy do I know where you're comin' from! We are STILL waiting for an "official" dx of CF. Right now, 2 years later, my DS is still an "as if..." That means he is being tx as if he has CF, but doesn't actually carry the dx. He is PI, he is <2%ile in ht and <5%ile in wt, chronic lung problems and sinus infections, sweat chloride 42, no known genetic mutations, so...he's an as if.
The waiting is the worst, but the tests are a step in the right direction. I hope the results come back as quickly as possible and you can begin planning you son's tx.

Thought I would feel a little better after the blood test, but don't. Trying to be cheerful for everyone, but inside I am going crazy. I am not one to worry, but I have actually thrown up twice in the last few days. Anyway, my son seems to be tired alot and has dark circles under his eyes that were not there before. Does anyone else's kids have perpetual dark circles?
