WAXING

I've waxed a bunch of stuff... and on several occasions. Never any reactions, except for the minor pink skin irritation that comes with it. And I highly recommend it. If you're worried, wax somewhere very small first and see how you react. If you react okay, go for the legs or whatever else.

The only thing I have ever waxed is my eyebrows and I have never had any issues.

I forget when your cruise is but like everyone (and you) have said, try it out first. I would suggest going to someone who does it and have them do your legs and whatever else you want done.

I used to use Nair on my legs. It worked great and it keeps your legs smoother than shaving. Plus now they have it so you don't have to touch the nair when you put it on. I remember always having the funny bald feeling on my hands and hated it. Its also a thought <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I am a waxer too, and the only thing is get it done a few days before you leave because the skin in that area is going to be red and irritated (bikini line in particular if you're doing that sort of thing) for a few days.

The only sort of reaction I've ever noticed with medications that I am on is if I get waxed while I am on high doses of steroids. That tends to make my skin thin out (?) a little bit and it just seemed to get a lot more irritated and heal up more slowly.

Waxing is awesome though, the hair won't even start peaking out for at least a week and a half or two. I love it, and I have a cerulogist who is awesome and fast and not weird at all about waxing between my ass cheeks!

Brazillian waxing FTW!!!!!!
