i was rebelious. i was always so 'sheltered' and protected, that all through highschool i was the 'good girl'. my mom was always pretty strict so i never did much. well when i turned 18, i went in the party phase for awhile. i've been outta that phase for about a year now and still tryin to pick up better habits with being compliant in taking care of myself. i am doin better though! also that year i was into partyin i was admitted about 4 times.

I was a good girl growing up.... became an adult and then I rebelled. I have always been "snotty" and disrespectful in my own quiet way (more vocal about it the older and crankier I get). If you are asking am I compliant with my CF and treatments-- NOPE!!

I was never into partying and drinking.... I rebelled in the area of jewelry, clothing and funky hair colors. This is a big deal considering I come from a very conservative family.

My parents would probably kill me if they knew how often I skipped my enzymes when I was younger. I just wanted to be like all the other kids, and having to go to the nurse before lunch to get my pills made me stand out and made other kids ask questions that I didn't want to answer.

Now that my cf has progressed, I can't even imagine doing that. Though I must admit I'm still not that good about the vest....

I think rebellion is all relative. When my friends were dropping acid at school and becoming anorexic, I didn't take care of my CF and would try to skip dr. appointments. Not really "rebellion" but it was definitely rebellion against my disease. It definitely made me seem more together than my friends, who dealt w. severe drug and body image problems--I had enough on my plate already to dabble in that<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
