What is the name of the powder that adds calories to food?

My son used to use the Polycose when he was a baby. I can't remember when or why specifically we switched over to the Duocal, but Polycose has 23 Calories per Tablespoon and Duocal has 42 Calories so that may have been the reason.

I have often thought of adding duocal to the applesauce that Emily takes her enzyme with. She always wants to finish off the bowl after she's done with enzymes, so I thought- - hey, can we make this "worth it?" Do you guys think the duocal would interfere with the enzyme? I know you're not supposed to give enzyme on dairy products because the enzyme might start to break down too soon...but is doucal is non-dairy...what do you think?

I've thought about this too Tami. I think I'll see what the doctors think at next visit. If it's 42 calories a teaspoon then we could probably get another 150 calories a day atleast into my son just by giving him his creon!

I've thought about this too Tami. I think I'll see what the doctors think at next visit. If it's 42 calories a teaspoon then we could probably get another 150 calories a day atleast into my son just by giving him his creon!
