i use a separate neb for each of my ,eds.im fortunate enough to have a clinic that gives me my pari nebs. but if i had to cut down i would use albuterol and hts in one and pulmozyme and tobi would both have to have their own. if you leave tobi in your neb with out washing it gets really really sticky its gross... i learn things the hard way lol

Hi Clara, I was just thinking about you wondering how you've been.

I only use pari nebs, and I use one neb per treatment. Each treatment I take xopenex, pulmo, & hts. Additionally, I will be starting Tobi and was told I could also use the same neb.

I make sure each med runs dry before adding the next one, and I was told all this was fine to do. I do not rinse mine in between meds, however I can't remember if they specified if I need to. I believe it was ok not to rinse, as long as "I let it run dry" with the last med before adding the next one.

I hope you are well <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

I use the same neb for Xopenex & Tobi/or Colistin, and a separate one each for HTS, Pulmozyme. My understanding is that especially pulmozyme needs to have it's own neb because it is an enzyme and can be effected by other meds when mixed together.

I use 2 Pari nebs and a side stream (which I don't like) for the pulmozyme. I don't wash between each treatment, but I do rinse really good and let air dry. I boil them about once a week or so.

I'm a slacker. I use the same neb for all my meds except pulmozyme. Pulmozyme has its own but other than that MucoMyst, Albuterol, Intal, HS, TOBI and Atrovent all get used in the same nebs.

I tried to keep seperate ones but I washed them all together and so I would end up getting them mixed up and then I tried marking them but couldn't fnd a way of doing so that would actually not come off. So I just started doing them all in the same neb cups. I shake it out after I finish a med. I do *try* to use disposable side streams for everything except TOBI during TOBI months. My Pulmoyme has a seperate distinctive disposable neb so I can easily tell it apart
